This is a painting of our hens painted at least a decade ago by my Dad. It hangs in our living room.
I have not been out, first because I am supposed to be resting and recovering and second as it's been so wet. The rain poured down all night and morning, all our roads are closed with cars stuck in flooding. Worse than that are two significant landslides closing our roads to the rest of Scotland, they may take weeks to clear. The helicopters were going over the house rescuing people from cars and taking people to the hospital. In 60 years in this county I have never seen it as bad as this.
