Heron watching

A day of dramatic weather with a huge thunderclap at one point.

Waited for the plumber who didn't show then went for a walk with the camera, had to hide from the weather a couple of times. Two herons were down on the front having a fight about territory I assume.  It was a close choice between this one where the light is good or the extra with the rainbow.
Off out tonight to a talk given by friends who sailed across the pacific during Covid lockdown,
