Failing light

I managed to persuade Marie Laure to hit some balls with me to practise for the match on Sunday. She has given me a lot of coaching in my transition from badminton to tennis. Unfortunately, no-one else was available for our weekly training session as she prefers to play doubles. Before that, I went in to town to get my Covid and flu jabs. I was a little hesitant getting both on the same day, one in each arm, as I was told it could perhaps increase the chance of a headache or fatigue over the weekend. However, I thought it best to get maximum protection before flying in ten days time. Having said that, last year I caught Covid just several weeks after vaccination. So far I just have a slightly sore arm from the Covid jab.
