A new friend

I haven’t seen - or haven’t noticed - one of these before.  It was sitting on my sedum flower looking rather sturdy I thought. And not at all at risk of being caught up in the web you can see around it.   My phone tells me it’s called Coreus, and it’s other name is squash bug.  I think that’s a pretty insensitive name! And I have no intention of squashing it:-)
In other news, walked 7500 steps today, trying to walk more. Also haven’t driven my car since I nearly hit an errant cyclist recently - though I suppose I’ll have to before long….
