Definitely time to take them down

So pleased with my beautiful birthday cards, but they need to come down now. My family and friends were so kind, sending mainly cats, flowers and bees. And not too many giant gold-coloured 70s:-)
A bit of a dull blip, but today I’m using my journal as a place to keep something I want to remember.
Quite a busy day - took puss to the vet. She has cystitis - from stress. Probably caused by her enemy, the white cat, coming into her garden. Though I do try to deter it with a gigantic super-soaker, as I know it makes her feel unhappy. Lots of drugs to give her, hopefully mixing them with tuna fish will work. Lunch with an old friend from work. In the evening - my ‘film club’ with my Orkney friends - we watched something guaranteed to be gentle, beautiful and positive: My Neighbour Tortoro. We’d all seen it before, but loved revisiting. When my son was studying animation - part of BTEC media studies - he learned about the Ghibli studios in Japan. And that was the first time I heard about it. Now most of the films are on Netflix which is wonderful.
