Back to Selborne
On a day that was warm, and occasionally sunny too. Jo and Martin had never been and we walked around the house enjoying all the elements. It has such a relaxed vibe, children playing in the gardens, people wandering around the grounds. It’s a naturalist’s garden not a horticultural garden so everything has been left to go to seed in the nicest way.
In the morning before the others got up I walked down to get the papers and discovered, after nearly three years here that there is a good clear path all around the field that is covered with pumpkins. So we had a dignified and decent walk.
Jo and Martin left after our pub lunch at Selborne and we went home. Worked away at grass that has been cut and left and then watched a new edit of episode 1.
Watched Al’s new show A Pack of Lies. Very colourfully produced and quite entertaining! Vik made me marmite spaghetti from Felicity Cloake in the Guardian. I loved it but thought it could have done with more marmite. V loved it but would have put less in. It doesn’t taste of marmite really, just warmly savoury.
