Orchard Art

After work (the deadline was met), P and I walked to the farm shop for some goodies. This artwork reminded me of some Rothko paintings, but it’s just the side of an old toolshed in one of the orchards.

The extra shows a lonely amaranth plant that’s growing in a fallow field. It looks like someone had planted it there, and it’s obviously thriving. Perhaps it’s an agricultural experiment of some kind.
