Prickly

A long day, starting with an early shift in the sound studio, then a gym visit, and finally working from home for another couple of hours. I’ve got to meet a deadline tomorrow, and it’s going to be close. 

The weekend won’t be relaxing either, as I’ll have to collect a new carer for my mother on Saturday, and drive E to her bus on Sunday. 
I’m glad the agency found a solution just in time, but it’s going to be hard on the woman. She has been caring for an elderly gentleman, but he’s going to be in hospital for at least a few weeks. So, her agency pulled her out of her usual job on very short notice, and deployed her to my mother. Just another victim of the care crisis…
