Last blooms

I picked these flowers from the garden this morning, possibly the last of the season. My yellow rose has come into bloom so many times since May, I love it.

Washing machine repairman came round today and found a grand total of 3 hair grips in the pump, in addition to the one that I had already found when draining (and flooding). What an idiot I am.

I celebrated the fixed machine by putting a load out on the line.
