Blown Away!

This morning, I ran across an article about using a gray card to set white balance in-camera. I remembered that I had ordered a gray card from Amazon a couple of years ago, but could never figure out how to use it. I dug it out of the camera bag and tried it out with this flower. This is SOOC. The extra is metered without the gray card.
What an amazing discovery! I had no idea how far off my camera sensor was. It is going to be so much easier to dial in the correct settings using this technique, especially with portraits. I am looking forward to testing it out.
