Salvia
Today was BP first thing. It was an older workout and I was exhausted! Much more cardio than weights - but it might have had something to do with giving blood yesterday?
Home for a lazy breakfast (bananas on toast) then contemplating my navel for an hour or so. OH was at golf and I was at a bit of a loose end but decided to go in the garden as it was another glorious day. I was happy to be in the garden, listening to a podcast and spent a few hours before OH home from golf. He was planning to go to MIL house to do some sorting out but I persuaded him to help me in the garden for a bit and then we both went round there late afternoon. Not at the sorting out stage yet, but it won't be long before the house is emptied and on the market and cat re-homed. Sad times but time is of the essence as care home fees will be racking up!
Photo is of a salvia plant that I have taken lots of cuttings from. I watched Gardener's World last week and Monty was saying that because the flower heads are too small for the bee to enter, they use their proboscis to make a hole in the neck of the flower and suck the nectar out this way. Clever bees - whoever knew?
