It all went a bit pear shaped the first time but they managed it again (different car) and it worked well (until they were on the way home and there was a problem with the brakes so the last 20 miles were in an AA van! - you couldn;t make it up).  However nothing could spoil the weekend and they had a fab time at B's wedding and No.1 looked gorgeous.

Quiet day for OH and me - I just made some cakes and some quince jelly then a few hours sewing.  It was one of those frustrating sessions where nothing really goes to plan but I persevered and finished another Peter Rabbit.

Early dinner (thank you Cook - never thought I would be a 'ping' meal sort of person - but who cares?!). Couple of episodes of Sherwood and the day was done.
