Aln Mouth

A trip to Northumberland today so that my wife can catch up with a school friend from Dublin who is over for a walking tour in the Alnmouth area.

I had hope to head to Co. Durham to visit a university friend but as she is recovering from treatment and was having a bad day. I stayed in Alnmouth and we had a lovely meal in the village.

The main photo is of the boats beached in the tidal estuary. Makes a change from flowers in the garden!
