Heading home

We had time today to visit Bamburgh and Lindisfarne to show our Irish friend as she had never been and her walking tour would not take her there.

It was a lovely day to be outside and the beach at Bamburgh provided a number of photo opportunities. Some in the extras.

Then back up the A1 in time to turn around and meet up with friends from Norfolk whom we’ve not seen for several years. We went to the Little Chartroom run by Roberta Hall-McCarron and her husband. A really lovely meal. Whether it was because it was a Friday evening, we were by far the oldest there!

Then home!
