Early in the morning

Up very early in the morning, well for me anyway, just before 7am.
The plasterer is coming to do our vestibule.
So after breakfast I drove to the chemist to drop off a prescription, it was not opened yet, went to the recycling to dump an old computer monitor, it was still closed and then dropped my car off at the garage to get a slow puncture repaired. Fortunately it was opened.
This is the path over the old railway line and viaduct, looking glorious in the morning sunshine in my walk back home to find that the workmen still haven't arrived, and we are now being told that it won't be until after lunchtime now that they will get here.
