In The Occupied Territory

Seven days too long

A title that has nothing whatsoever to do with the image.
It's just that this time next week we will be getting ready to set off on the drive to Glasgow on our holidays. seven days really can't pass quick enough.
After yesterday's shower head shadow blip, something a bit more obvious today.
This statue was erected in the much underused Castle Street is a tribute to the regiment that was the local regiment, the now defunct Gordon Highlanders. They amalgamated with a couple of other Northern based Scottish regiments some years ago becoming The Highland Regiment.
This sculpture shows how the soldier would have looked when they first were formed and how they looked in the modern times.
A busy day ahead. Got to go and touch up the paint in one of the flats ready for a new tenant moving in and then get back home to sort things out for the plasterer coming to our house tomorrow.
