Another rainy day.

Another wet day.
Click and collect from Sainsbury’s Halifax. As you can see all cars had their lights on the weather was so bad.

After lunch we called to see friends as it was K’s birthday. Unfortunately she had just had some very sad news. However we did cheer her up talking about our holiday and reminiscing about holidays we have had in France with her and A. Time soon passed by and it was three hours later when we left, but by then she had a smile on her face.

As it had cleared up by tea time I managed to get some gardening done, and filled the bin ready for collection tomorrow.

This evening we have been round at our neighbours for a few hours . Called to take flowers and wine as a thank you for picking us up from the airport on Monday.
What a coincidence. Leeds were on the TV, so ended up staying until the end of the match, with another couple of glasses of wine.
MrC and D watching the match while C and I chatted away.

So all in all a very enjoyable day even if a wet one.
