Different outlook

We woke to rain, wind, and a drop in temperature.
Rather a shock to the system!
The outlook from our kitchen window was very different from yesterday, and the view I took for my blip.
However the garden is looking colourful and was certainly better than I thought it would be after being away for a week.
Unfortunately it is now rather battered after all the strong wind and rain we have had today.

Only done half the washing as no chance of drying it outside.
Called at the farm shop and Heidi wanted to know all about our holiday as she has a holiday cottage in the area. Enjoyed chatting. She knew all the places we mentioned and also all about the castle where Richard the Lionheart died.

Unfortunately the weather doesn’t sound as if it will be much better tomorrow.
