Milan Day 1

The main task today was a tour of the Duomo. This included visiting the roof where we had to climb and descend lots of steps. A warm day, temperature about 25. We were lucky there is a direct tram to the Duomo from where we are staying.

We returned to the hotel mis afternoon. We decided to visit the bar for Happy Hour. However based on the price of an Aperol Spritz we concluded it was the bar that was “Happy” rather than the customers. There was a nice open buffet so I suppose it has to be paid for somehow.

We are staying in the Navigli canal district. Photo above. Lots of bars and restaurants. We found a nice pizzeria from where I took the picture.
