Castello Sforza

The second day of our touristy visit to Milan. My first visit to the Sforza Castle despite having worked in Milan in a previous life.

Again we were able to take a tram direct from our hotel. We had a few drops of rain as we were walking in the park. After lunch we had lunch in a nearby bar and then walked of to the Piazza Duomo to go the La Rinascente shop for some small presents.

In the evening we treated ourselves to an aperitivo one of the Navigli bars for an Aperol. Adjourning to dinner we shared a large plate of funghi porcini before our main dish which was so large neither of us could finish the meal.

This photo is posted a week late as I could not get it to download from the “cloud”. I had to delete all the pictures taken that day and reload them.
