Honey Bee Cheats to obtain Nectar!

If you are a bee expert, please take a look at this bee's strange mopping or hoovering protuberance where the proboscis is normally. Our local expert and bee-keeper had never seen this before.

I spent the only dry hour today just observing bees in the garden. There are so many different types of bee! These ones were piercing the top of the aqualegia flowers to get the nectar that way, cheating I think! Look large to see him at it!
