my lovely clock

I bought this clock for I think my 40th birthday, so just a couple of years ago. It came from a shop in Morningside Road between Studio One and the Mulberry Bush. It's made, I think of steel with cut out numbers. The original hands were quite heavy brass, but over the years they wore through the spindle and I had to buy new. These are nothing like as substantial and the wrong colour (the gold was worse though) but I am going to paint them nearer to the original. The only place I've seen a clock like it was between the windows in Edina's kitchen in an early episode of Absolutely Fabulous, so I'll accept that as a sign of my taste. Good or Kitsch, lol. I keep meaning to track down the episode.
This evening I had the joy of bathing Josie, what fun except, as always with little ones, the hair-washing part.
Three days ago she wasn't using you/me, today she's pretty well got it sussed.
