Brownies

Church today, we had 13 at our mid week service this morning, which for our small church is a good number. We have a student with us for the next few months. She's in the final year of her Master of Divinity at New College and today was her first day. We always have lots of chat after this service, over coffee, and even more than usual today. I was the first to leave, an hour after the service finished.
We went to Morningside for lunch today, and a charity shop browse. The prices in some of the shops seemed very, very high, I'll stick to Stockbridge I think.
I picked up the older girls this afternoon. Eilidh had been to an inter-schools cross country group. She was very happy to have come 39th out of over70 and to have beaten her personal best.
Isobel had been at after school club so we picked her up separately. They both had Brownies this evening, it's the first time they have been at the same club at the time, sou Kathryn is enjoying the easier logistics of that. It won't last long though. Eilidh is off to Guides in the New Year.
I thought I'd grab a picture of them both in uniform, spot the dancer, she just can't help looking graceful.
I've had a really sore left shoulder for a week or so, it's been waking me up at night too. I used to have steroid injections into the joint and I'm wondering if perhaps that is going to be needed again
