Good advice!

It's probably good advice generally not to touch suspicious objects but especially here as the footpath runs alongside the Ministry of Defence firing ranges near Bisley. I don't think the path actually goes over the firing ranges but I presume there's a risk that some ordnance could go astray. Certainly the noise of firing was very prominent and hardly conducive to a quiet walk in the country. I was there this morning to pick up an order from Comfort and Nourish, a place that sells raw dog food. We're looking after my daughter Paula's dog, Kanji, this week and she had placed the order prior to bringing him up yesterday. They'll be picking him up again on Friday, so we only have to operate the strict separation regime to keep him and Rocky the cat apart for 4 sleeps, 5 days.
