Looking, errrr, the part

No hanging about this morning - we actually set our alarms, though that was really to give us enough time to max out on the included breakfast.
Then up the interstate - there’s a time change at the Georgia border which didn’t help us, as we had the grand finale of the road trip to attend. A golf buggy tour around the locations in Senoia (pronounced Senoi, y’all) used in the TV series, The Walking Dead! Well, locations from Season three onwards, when David Morrissey appeared as the Guv’nor in Woodbury as you’ll probably remember. I jest.
Oh my word yes, it didn’t disappoint. Julie gave us all the goss; the behind the scenes stories. And I even got to handle Lucille!
Afterwards we checked into our B&B, the “historic” Veranda Inn before stepping out to yet another local brewery (what an itinerary) and then for one last meal. It had to be burgers. With fries. The SK ordered a salad on the side to share. Oh well, I guess I’m going to have to get used to that sort of chomp again. Haw.
