Jack Sparrow?

I went to a summer ball tonight which was put on by the morning bootcamp I attend. It was so nice to see people dressed up. Usually we see each other in sports gear, bed hair and no make up....it was very different tonight.

When we arrived we had red carpet to walk on. I was a bit late because of work but it didn't matter...there was still a glass of bubbly left for me. We had a three course meal which was really nice, especially the dessert. Then award nominations were read out. I got nominated for The Person Who Goes The Extra Mile Award. I didn't win, the person who won it turned up to her bootcamp session on the morning of her wedding day. Now that's dedication for you, a worthy winner. The person giving out the awards was Captain Jack Sparrow...well his look alike anyway. He's a member of the bootcamp. He said he used to be Captain Fat Sparrow until he joined us!

Then it was dance, dance, dance the night away.

Very tired now as I was up at 5.30 for my lake swim. Think I'll take to my bed. X
