On My Wish List!

Where did the time go today. I missed my bootcamp because I had so many things I needed to get done and still ran out of time to finish my to do list.

Had a nice start to the day with breakfast in town. Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. It was so nice.

On to the new running shop which has just opened. My husband needed new running shoes. We came out with running shoes, new shorts, new top, socks, exercise ball, 8kg kettle bell, a weighted hula hoop, a resistance trainer and a worn out credit card!

On to the flight centre to book the flights to Montana. Here we spent nearly two hours sorting out the best flights to get. There is no direct flight to Billings which is where my sons uni is. We will have to fly to Minneapolis then onto Billings. It's awkward as we had to get different flight returns for my son. Anyway we thought we were all sorted until my son phoned and told us that he had received an email, just after we confirmed the booking, that he needs to be there earlier than first thought for pre season training, meetings and games. We now have to pay £175 to change his flight details! Grrrrrr

On to the car dealers. I wanted to go to three different ones as I couldn't make up my mind which car I wanted. We only managed one. The VW dealers. I have always loved the Golf TDI convertible. There was this beauty in the showroom. I love it. There is a but....it's not automatic. I like automatics. I'm going to take this car out for a test drive in the week though to see if I like driving it.... I did liked sitting in it!

I ran out of time to go to the Audi dealers. I wanted to have a look at the A1. When we got there it was closed. I missed the Mini dealers as well, another car I was interested in. Far too many cars to choose from. Maybe I shouldn't look at too many anyway or I'll just get confused.

Home to take the dogs out for a romp. I took them along the river, It's surprising how long the grass has grown. It was hard to get through it. Anyway they had a lovely walk and came home to eat their tea.

Then it was time for us to eat. Couldn't decide what to cook so went out to eat again!

The day has flown by....but it's been good.

Tomorrow I'm off to Queens to watch the tennis....it's all go!
