US Embassy London

Today I went with my son to get his visa from the US embassy in London. He's off to uni in Montana in August. Thankfully everything went ok so we are one step further. It was such a long wait though. I couldn't go in with him and he wasn't allowed to take his phone in so I had no idea when he was going to come out. So I had coffee, more coffee, glass of wine, more coffee and five hours later he appeared.

I had to get cover for my teaching as there was no way I could get back for the start of my lessons. Never mind I found someone who was happy to start them until I got to work, which meant I could get something to eat.

We ate at a lovely steak restaurant called Goodmans. Beautiful food...and wine...Sancerre my favourite!

Then it was onto work then back home. Haven't gone swimming training tonight as its been a long day and I'm doing my lake swimming in the morning.

Looking forward to tomorrow I'm off to a summer ball!
