Growing up too fast!

Today was Austin’s trial run at nursery, only for an hour. He was so excited, wearing his back pack and looking forward to going. We arrived on time, another little boy also on a visit. Austin not keen to let go of my hand when offered a hand of a teacher. We walked into the classroom, found his peg - he’s got a Grufallo on his name plate - reluctantly took off the back pack and walked into the main room. Did not want to play with any of the items in the room so we went outside. The teacher then tried again to offer her hand and he took it ….. I took a hasty retreat.

An hour later, teacher said he was fine, soon settled and enjoyed playing with the other children.

Real nursery starts on Monday, let’s hope he is ok with attending again.

Walked to pick Caleb up from school at the end of the day, boy it was hot again and Austin is not the fastest of walkers. He like blowing the dandelions (see extras action shot). On the way home, they both had another go at blowing them, Caleb did well.
