Rudbeckia hirta

I have been meaning to blip one of these beautiful Rudbeckia ever since I discovered them in bloom when I came back from holiday and today, is the day! I grew them from seed for the first time and I love their deep brown and yellow velvety petals which look even nicer in the sunshine. It has been a beautiful sunny, warm, bordering on hot, day today, perfect for relaxing in the garden. Unfortunately I am now heading to my yoga class, where the heat will not be so welcome!
