Red Squirrel

We had a drive out to Aberfoyle this morning and walked up from the village to the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park to see the red squirrels. The feeding stations had all been newly filled so there was lots of activity both from the squirrels and the birds, mainly coal tits and chaffinches but a few nuthatch too.
Down in the village we saw many swallows flying around the car park and the one in the extra seemed particularly interested in the little red flowers on the shrub.
