Seasonal
My neighbour planted a woodland trust hedge a couple of years ago and I noticed these lovely rose hips this year as I pass it up the drive.
Another sunny and quite hot day. We were back to singing this morning after a few Mondays off and did a number of new songs. A gig at Saltaire Yardfest, part of Saltaire festival, on Saturday and looking ahead to a fundraising evening at St Luke’s Church, East Morton next month.
After our usual shop I took a look in the garden and found the usual seasonal huge fungus where the Oak tree used to be by the back wall.
Other news today, Eda has started in Yr 1, her second year at school. Neighbour Piper has started in reception, part of the same Apple Class. Which is nice for them both. I hear Eda was a bit sad about having to go but was fine when she got there.
They were greeted by a live duo singing whilst playing drums and keyboard out side the school building.
