Toad Lily time.

I took some pictures of these Toad lilies on Friday for flower Friday but used my picture of Eda starting school instead.
A bonus when I went to photograph them again today was to find another flower opened on the same stem. So tiny and adorable as always, I particularly love the detail of the centres.  Hard to believe it is a year since I blipped them.

A dull and a dampish start to the day but a sunny afternoon so all the washing we put out has dried and I’ve done the bit of ironing. Not the weekend we were forecast and it’s still very warm.

Chris is cooking roast beef for Sunday evening dinner shortly with son Alex.
