On our travels

We have booked Richard into the Lakeland Dialysis unit for this week. The first holiday together since he began treatment.

We are staying in Allonby on the west coast. Neither of us have been here before and we arrived in sunshine. I had an interesting walk round the village following a local trail taking in some splendid buildings and cobbled streets. The queue for the popular local ice cream was rather long so left that for another day.

Had a wander along the coastal path which runs along the coast this evening. Just back at the cottage when I looked out to see this sunset. Just time to grab a quick photo.
