Rievaulx Views

This afternoon we decided to have a trip to Rievaulx Terrace. Every time we have passed by and could have called in it has been closed. So made a special trip today. 

It is not a large National Trust site but we like the mix of woodland and open grass with views through the trees to Rievaulx Abbey below. This was my favourite view showing how impressive it must have been in its heyday.
