Sally Mair - Loving life

Reclaiming my Town

We went into town this evening for our dinner at Côte, and delicious it was too. I had a confit duck and Colin a Breton fish stew. Both delicious. We had a lovely evening, post festival, the restaurant was busy but not crowded and the service was excellent. I'm sure the free bottle of wine had nothing to do with our enjoyment!
It was quite dark when we came out, just after 9pm. The castle was lit up and looked quite spooky in the dark as we were waiting at our bus stop. I wonder who is behind the lit windows.
We'd had a family orientated day today. It's always a busy one for Katy's family if they need cover as both girls have their dance schools .
I was with Eilidh for part of the afternoon and we did a quick sortie into one of the charity shops to humour me. She was delighted to come out with a pair of Adidas trousers for herself. Perfect for her cross country. She also gained a box of Stories from Shakespeare books which she claimed Isobel would enjoy too.
