Tansy Ragwort

The wildflower in the foreground sounds like it ought to be a character in a Dickens’ novel; one of it’s alternative names, Stinking Willie, sounds straight out of The Simpson!

I took this photo on our walk round from Apex Park near Highbridge to Burnham sea front. Sophie wanted to take her bike to the park this morning and, after another hour of her practising and getting more and more confident, we headed for the sea front and lunch at the cafe on the prom.

When we got back to the car, she insisted on another half hour on the bike before we took her home.

We should all sleep well tonight!
