Late Drama

Another enjoyable Park Run this morning followed by an entertaining game at Huish Park this afternoon against a Chelmsford side who are unbeaten so far this season.

We had the majority of possession but they looked equally dangerous when they had the ball so there was plenty of goal mouth action with both keepers making good saves.

Just when it looked like being a goalless draw they scored in the 87th minute when our keeper made another excellent save which our nearest defender stood admiring while one of their players nipped in to tap in the rebound.

Fortunately we managed to exert plenty of late pressure, equalising in the 90th minute with a deflected shot.

We nearly got another right at the end when our defender Jake Wannell (far right of blip) got a powerful header on target from the cross he is watching so carefully, only for their keeper to stretch and tip it over. A draw was a fair result though.
