Diary of an Edinburgher

Bin Find No 329

Brian came to take Archie out for a big long walk this morning, at the nice and early time of 9.30. This was most convenient because I was going off to visit my brother and sister-in-law. I don’t visit them much, and Covid was a no-go time for them - even his daughter in law and grandson weren’t allowed to visit. He’s immunocompromised, so has to be super careful.

However, they were both on good form and we had a good session, sorting out the world's problems in a couple of hours. I won't leave it so long till the next visit.

By the time I came home, Archie was back for his walk, JR had picked up Pip for the morning, and Hazel was visiting in the front garden - she hasn't had time to do that for weeks, being so busy in the Festival.

In the afternoon we all had a dander round the block before JR went into town to get something important.

We're just having Plan B on tomorrow's plans... Go on to House of Bruar for lunch and a browse, or... as the weather looks promising... maybe a walk round Loch Faskally. We've done it before, years ago when Archie was a wee puppy. And my knees worked a bit better. And I remember it was tough enough then. We'll bring the walking shoes just in case.

We're watching 'The Morning Show', only because JR got three months subscription to Apple TV free with her new phone, but there's nothing much we want to see.
