More Rain

Here’s the sad little flower bed behind our mailbox. We don’t tend to it as often as we should. In May we planted cosmos seedlings and between dear deer and frequent rain, the plants have struggled to grow. I rushed out during a light shower to grab the mail and thought I’d get my blip done. As you can see I need to deadhead, and that’s on the agenda tomorrow! • Heavy rain is falling now but thankfully the severe weather forecasted never materialized. Tornado warnings were issued in southeastern Massachusetts, where justbe lives, but thankfully nothing materialized there either • What a strange summer • I made a soup for dinner, and debating whether I should add dumplings • Looking forward to a dry weekend and catch up on yard and garden work!!
