As planned I deadheaded flowers and thinned my row of radishes. The mowing will have to wait since the grass was wet and more showers are forecasted for this afternoon and evening. Hopefully tomorrow or Monday • It was thrilling to see this White Admiral visit the backyard, albeit briefly. He rested in the raised bed where the radishes are planted, then flew over to the butterfly bush. I was fortunate to get a couple of shots before he disappeared • Louis, the neighbor’s cat, also made an appearance. He looked in the window while I was folding clothes on the dining room table. The little bugger is too darned cute for his own good which makes it even harder to shoo him away. MrsP filled up a pan of water for me and I headed outside with it in hand. It took a few wet doses to get him back home • Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
