Gobble•Gobble

It’s the second time this week a flock of 19 turkeys paid us a visit. Three groups spread out around the side yard, one foraging for sunflower seeds, while the other two burrowed in mulch taking dust baths or quietly snoozed. This shot through the window includes the leader (on the right) standing to signal playtime was over and it was time to go. He sauntered down the driveway, then crossed the road, while most of the others had to trot to catch up. Thankfully any cars that passed during their departure all slowed or stopped. All were women drivers, too • We hope they stop in again soon :) • Peace & Love
