Chesil beach..,

….this afternoon, stretching way ahead of us and, really, too much of a challenge for some of us to walk along the shingle. But we had a go, then took a selfie instead. My extra.

But first another wonderful guide at Thomas Hardy’s birthplace, another NT property. All his books and poems were written here and it was easy to see where much of his inspiration came from. We have decided we must re-read his work!

We finished the jigsaw this evening followed by a pot luck supper so we don’t have lots of food to take home. Very good it was too.

So grateful for another beautiful day and these days together.
