Keeping a signal

I had to forgo the walk with the walking group as I was likely to be out of range of a mobile phone signal. I thought I had prepared all the importation paperwork for customs but last night Tom sent a worrying email about more documentation that might be needed. Another Brexit benefit! I scrambled around and sent him lots of additional documents by WhatsApp and he managed to print them out at a Tesco express store in Dover. I needed to be contactable in case of any problems at customs. In the end, there was no one at French customs and he drove straight through! Last night, at the same time as I was searching for the documents, a fight broke out in the street between two very drunk women who are near neighbours. The shouting and slapping went on for long enough for various people to come and try to intervene. In the end we were able to convince them to go their separate ways particularly as everyone wanted to get back to sleep!
