Becalmed At Sundown

It has been breezy here all summer. The last few days have been unusually windy. Yesterday, we dried two loads of laundry before lunch. Unheard of.

The wind was from the NW, and warm. During happy hour the wind suddenly changed almost instantly to SW, off the water, and it cooled off nicely.

Last evening the wind died and this sailboat dropped anchor to enjoy the sunset.

The wind is now back, and the boat is gone.
