Daughter, Father Walk

JJ, our younger daughter, walks a lot. She walks to work most days and, when she is at the cabin, has a 10 Km. beach walk she likes to do. This was the first time, this year, that I joined her. It incorporates just about every type of beach; sand, gravel, rocks, clay, wading etc., that you can imagine. It is a good workout.

The reason for this walk is to get in walking/hiking shape for or Oct. trip to Europe. JJ will be joining us for all but three days of the trip. Her main task will be tech support.

We had to discuss important things like beer choices in Alsace and London and wine choices in Italy. Hikes and walks in the Alps, Tuscany and Cinque Terre. Daily coffee and pastry breaks. Plays in London. You know…the important stuff.

She went for a walk with her mom after dinner. I did not!
