Off I go ....
I used to love airports. It used to be a special experience. I suppose it was the association with new places, new people and new adventures. There was a sense of doing something out of the ordinary.
It isn't like that anymore and that is good. More people going to more places; and more people coming from more places.
Been a while since I've done this. My shoulder bag has so many pockets it takes 5 minutes to find anything. And it is full of good intentions. Work which needs to be done, books which need to be read and magazines to be skimmed for glimpses of enlightenment.
Airports are now a series of tests, each of which is designed to chip away at any good humour you may have or any cash which you really didn't want to dispose of buy, hey go, all part of the adventure.
I am passing these tests. It is a reminder of what a patient person I am.
