Emerging iris
For photographers, the trouble with flowers outside is that they move. Ever. So. Slightly. Particularly the long stemmed ones. And you can't necessarily see that they have moved until the shot is large on the computer.
For gardeners, the good thing about long stemmed flowers in the garden is that they move.
A little tension there.
The photographer suggested cutting the flower and taking it inside to controlled conditions. The gardener told the photographer that wasn't going to happen. Though those were not the exact words used. And there was a fairly crude suggestion of where the photographer might put his own head.
They are still not speaking and it is giving me a headache.
