It was a wild start to the day. Thunder,  lightning and rain started around 4 am. It was still going on when I got up at 6. I checked the radar and it had the storm moving out around 10 am. By 8 I knew I would have to delay leaving by at least an hour. It was still raining hard when I decided to leave around 9:30. 
When I turned onto the highway I noticed a couple of cars pulled over on the other side of the median,  then noticed the cops had the road closed and were directing traffic off at the exit. This afternoon I heard that the road had flooded. 
I took my time and by the time I got to Sackville the rain had almost stopped. Another 15 minutes of driving and the road was dry.
There was a light shower while I was at one of the garden centers. The rest of the day has been dry. A friend who lives in one of the areas I drove through said they had a couple of thunder showers this afternoon. 
My photo for today is Point Prim lighthouse,  the first time I have been there.  It is about a 15 minute drive from the motel.
