River of Flowers

Wednesday: Black and Blue

Drizzly start, but it eased off around 10am and turned into a warm and sunny morning, around 18°C.

I drove to Benllech to post a very important parcel to my 2 little granddaughters and did a very quick shop whilst I was there. The road was very busy, too many impatient motorists someone overtook the 2 vehicles behind me and me and they almost had a head on collision with a car coming in the opposite direction … !!

Last of local New Potatoes on sale down the road, MrD bought 2 x 1 kilo bags and I cut some salad leaves and spring onions which made a very tasty tea with some other bits and pieces :-))

Been meaning to Blip the very pretty Blue Cranesbills behind the garage, took one photo and checked it on my phone, was surprised and thrilled to see Blackcurrants growing next to the blue cranesbills, the blackbirds were nearby and had probably seen the ripe fruit well before I did :-) one of the young blackbirds was eating honeysuckle berries this afternoon, they are eating well this summer!

Started watching a short series about Marilyn Monroe on iPlayer.

Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
